Casa Lupe Restaurant - Authentic Mexican Dining in Campbell, CA

My favorite Mexican restaurant in San Jose! I especially love the chile colorado (plate or burrito) with a draft Negra Modelo. Riquisimo. Delightful, friendly service; lightning-fast kitchen. Go now!

Very good ethnic food and the service is fast and friendly, but not rushed. Chips and salsa are included with the meal. They have both booths and tables, so the choice is yours. The portions are fairly large, so you won't go hungry. They have an extensive menu at have no issues if you want to customize your order. Couple the good food with a full bar, and killer margaritas, and you have everything you need for a good meal.

We cannot say enough good things about Casa Lupe! The food is delicious and the service is so friendly, we feel like family when we dine here. After moving away and only returning every year or so, Al still greets us warmly at the door and Margarita knows exactly what we want to eat. The fajitas are served sizzling and piled high with seasoned meat and perfectly cooked veggies. The burritos are well filled and the chips are crispy, served with spicy salsa and pico de gallo. Be sure to have a margarita when you visit!

Casa Lupe has amazing chicken and beef fajitas, but what really won me over were the basics. For me, rice and beans are the true test of a good Mexican restaurant. When those staples are done right, you know the food is authentic and Casa Lupe absolutely gets it right. Their Mexican rice is some of the best I’ve had, and when a restaurant nails the staples, it speaks volumes about the quality and authenticity of the food. Simple, flavorful, and done right.

The platter of food was quite large. Honestly eating here made me feel like I was gorging myself. The service was wonderful. The price point was decent.

We stopped by for an early dinner hoping there would be plenty of parking spaces, but I guess you have to be lucky to score a parking spot. The chips and salsa were complimentary, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was good, the service and atmosphere were excellent.

Long standing family resturant with an updated & expanded space. Busy, loud and dynamic crowd with plenty of regulars. Highly recommend this joint. 3 people, 3 margaritas 3 entree's and too much food on every plate. Outstanding.

The chicken salad dish was good, except the chicken pieces were in cubes and didn't taste as expected. The rest of folks in our group liked the dishes (burritos) that they ordered
